G-JUNIOR'S WORLD : Golf-Mike, G-JR, Preppy G etc.

G-JUNIOR : WHO ?

G-JUNIOR is a project started in 2002 by the coorperation of Thailand's biggest entertainment company, GMM Grammy and Johnny's Entertainment. They recruited kids (both boys and girls) and got them trained in several classes.

Their first trial release from G-JUNIOR project is a kid rap band called "BIG 3".

Big 3 was consisted of Chin, Guy and Jay. Their album did pretty well with a couple of hits.

The group is no longer because they grew up and Jay left G-Junior.

After Big 3, there weren't any releases from G-JUNIOR until Golf-Mike in 2005. But we could see those G-Junior boys and girls doing several big stage performances as an openning acts, backdancers, etc. G-Junior also did the backdancing in JE's concerts in Thailand such as Tackey and Johnny's Junior (Kat-Tun, ABC,etc) at J-Asean Pops Concert in 2004.

And they also performed the Pattaya Music Festival in 2004 which Johnny's Junior were invited to perform there too so Johnny got to see Golf and Mike there.

At the end of 2004, JE persuaded Golf and Mike to go to Japan and join as guests in NEWS concert. They were called "Thai Junior" at the time. Golf-Mike covered T&T's "Epilogue" there. Later, they also joined Ya-Ya-Yah's concert in January 2005. Johnny gave them "Epilogue" as a gift to be released on their debut album.

November 2005, Golf-Mike's debut album got released.

The album contained several hits including Bounce, Ruang Lek Kaung Tur, Ta Lok Dee, Yah Len Bab Nee, Epilogue, etc.

In Febuary 2006, Golf-Mike won their first awards "Seed Awards - Most Popular Artist".

In March 2006, Golf-Mike was able to hold their own first independent concert at Thunder Dome with 5,000 audiences.

After touring the country for months, they were given a short break in April and they went for a vacation in Japan with their family. Johnny made them as a surprising guest at Tackey's stage play.

They started touring the country again. I guess they have performed for over 100 times already by last June. They worked VERY HARD. You know at the time, we usually got to see Golf-Mike on stage or at some events at least 2-3 times a week. So Golf-Mike's fans were very spoiled!

June 2006, Golf-Mike was awarded "Best Breakthough Artist" from the Channel [V] Thailand Music Video Awards. And over there, they announced that they'd be going to Japan for a *secret* music project with JE in a week.

A week later, KITTY GYM's press released. We were shocked!! Not only Yamapi's fans, but WE WERE SHOCKED too!

I would like to skip the GYM part as you all might have come to know well about.

After their 1 month absence...., as I told you that Golf-Mike's fans were VERY SPOILED and their 1 month absence was OH MY GOD!!! We missed the boys terribly.

At the end of August, Golf and Mike teamed up with other G-Junior boys including Chin, Guy, Happy, Madiow, J, Nut, Ken, and Ice as a group called "G-JR" (read as G-J-R) releasing the 10 Club album.

October 7, Golf-Mike and G-JR held a big concert again called "The Show Must Go On Concert By Golf-Mike & Friends" at Impact Arena.

Now Golf and Mike are in studio recording "The Second Album". There's been said about their next work in Japan too, but we'll have to wait and see.

Oh...apart from Golf-Mike's second album, G-JUNIOR is also having several projects including Chin's solo, Guy's solo, and G-Junior girls' album!!! Now some G-Junior girls (Teen & Beauty) are touring with Golf, Mike, Ice and Ken. Their dances are pretty good too.
